There’s no way around it – Medical and Dental care costs money!
My front desk staff will frequently receive a phone call from a prospective patient with the following question: “How much will a dental implant cost me?” If you have seen some ads in the local papers, you may have encountered this type of ad:
What’s most frustrating about dental practices that engage in these pricing schemes is that the cost for materials – the implant, the suture material, sterile instruments, etc. easily exceeds $395. And this doesn’t account for the Doctor’s time!
So how can they get it so cheap? I’ve often wondered this myself. Bottom line: You can always find something cheaper – but is that what you really want in your mouth?
