Case #1
This 25 year old female patient presented with “short” front teeth and a poor fitting crown on one of her front teeth (note the purple hue of the gum tissue around it).
Approximately 4 weeks following a minimally invasive “gum lift” procedure, a new crown was placed by the general dentist. She was very happy with the results!
Case #2
Before the procedure, the photograph demonstrates excessive gingival display, or a “gummy smile”.
This photo was taken 4 weeks after the procedure. Notice the smile line is less “gummy” but also isn’t “toothy”. This represents a subtle, yet noticeable enhancement to the patient’s smile.
