See it, to believe it

Dental technology is moving at warp speed. One of the great technological innovations in dentistry is “intraoral scanning”. Instead of traditional molds, using sticky impression materials, a small wand can now be used in the mouth to accurately capture the teeth and gums. I’ve enthusiastically embraced this new tech in my practice, using the Trios Intraoral scanner from 3Shape. There is tremendous value in capturing this type of data, and it can be used in all phases of dentistry. When you come in for a consultation, you’ll receive a digital scan of your teeth.

Below, you’ll see a 3D rendering of a patient who, unfortunately, suffers from steep gum recession.
